"EKJO defines a space between precision and poetry."

A language where the garment becomes architecture for emotion — shaped by nature, guided by humanism, and lived with quiet strength.
Between Paris and Seoul, EKJO cultivates a vision of clothing as balance — timeless, sincere, and alive.

Founded in Paris in 2000 by Eun Kyung Jo, Seoul-born designer, the brand embodies the encounter between Eastern discipline and Parisian sensibility.
After graduating from Seoul National University, she refined her vision at Studio Berçot, Central Saint Martins, and the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, forging a unique vocabulary that unites structure and fluidity, intellect and instinct. Installed in Le Maris, in the heart of Paris, her first collection was launched.

"Heart does not lie"

At the heart of EKJO lies a simple belief:
fashion is a form of human expression — not domination, but dialogue. Each garment is designed to accompany life, not to impose upon it; to move, to breathe, to age gracefully alongside the body. The collections speak softly yet with precision — an architecture of the intimate.

PHILOSOPHY

Rooted in a philosophy of Nature and Humanism, EKJO draws inspiration from the living rhythm of the world and the sincerity of the hand. Nature teaches imperfection, patience, and renewal. Humanism gives meaning to creation — connecting the act of making with emotion, ethics, and humanity.

EKJO’s approach is one of conscious craftsmanship. Each piece is made in limited editions, using refined, responsible materials. Every fold, every stitch is a gesture of time. The brand have been awarded and labelised by the Paris Mayor under the "fabriqué à Paris" label.

Recognized among the “Most Talented Designers Abroad” (2006) and the “10 Young Talented Designers in France”, Eun Kyung Jo continues to explore the relationship between art, ethics, nature, and emotion, building a universe where structure becomes sensitivity.

“Fashion is a feminist message — a sincere poetic equation.”
— Eun Kyung Jo
