ABOUT — EKJO

EKJO was established in Paris with the launch of its first prêt-à-porter collection in 2001, under the initials E.K.JO.

Founded by Eun Kyung Jo, the house reflects a personal vision of fashion as a quiet yet powerful language — where emotion is translated into a precise, poetic construction.

After graduating from Seoul National University, she began her career at LG Fashion before moving to Paris in 1997 to pursue her creative path. She studied at Studio Berçot and the Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, and continued her training at Central Saint Martins in London, shaping a vision rooted in both discipline and sensitivity.

For Eun Kyung Jo, fashion carries a subtle feminist dimension — an expression of inner strength, vulnerability, and sincerity, woven into form and structure.

Over the years, EKJO has developed a singular aesthetic, at the intersection of art, ethics, and humanity. The collections reflect a continuous dialogue with the world around her, offering a quiet but distinctive voice within contemporary fashion.
