TRACEABLE LOCAL SUSTAINABLE CIRCULAR
"In the future of fashion, regeneration, craftsmanship, and mindful creation will be the new essentials not exceptions."
In Eun Kyung JO eyes, circularity is not just about recycling, it's about the power to recreate new story.
Creation Without Destruction
This approach allows us to reduce waste by reintegrating end-of-life products into a continuous, transparent, and adaptable cycle of renewal. Upcycled and recycled materials lie at the heart of our design process. Today, nearly 60% of our collections are made from upcycled pieces and fabrics All transformed with the intentional gesture of creation. The rest is crafted from innovative and sustainable fibers, such as biodegradable and recycled textiles. In the future of fashion, regeneration, craftsmanship, and mindful creation will be the new essentials not exceptions. This is not just a shift in process, but a shift in values.

EKJO: The Art of Creating Differently
At EKJO, every garment begins with a simple yet demanding question:
How can we do better by doing less?
Less waste, less standardization, less distance between thought and action.
Creating here, with care, using what already exists.
Materials First
Our commitment to circular fashion is not a slogan. It’s a foundation.
It begins with our fabrics: nearly 60% of our collections are made from upcycled pieces and rescued textiles, carefully sourced and reimagined.
We don't hide these end-of-life materials we honor them. They carry stories, and we give them new form. The rest of our garments are crafted from innovative, responsible fibers: biodegradable textiles, recycled materials, and natural fabrics sourced mainly from Japan and Korea. These regions are celebrated for their textile excellence and artisanal weaving traditions.
We choose materials for their authenticity, durability, and beauty. Never by default, always with intention.

Small-Scale, High Standards
EKJO rejects the rhythm of fast fashion.
We produce in limited series, not only to reduce waste, but to ensure each piece receives the attention it deserves. Everything happens in-house. Our patterns are cut by hand in the basement of our Paris boutique. Just above, in the upper floor studio, every garment is assembled and sewn steps from where it will meet its future owner. We outsource nothing. Each piece reflects a tangible process rooted in a place, a pace, and a shared space between material, maker, and wearer.
Slowness as a Quiet Rebellion
In our studio, time is a material of its own. We embrace slowness not as a limitation, but as a choice. Cuts are refined with patience. Hands speak through fabric. This slower pace is a subtle form of resistance: to trends, to disposability, to sameness. It makes room for meaning, for garments that last and stay.

A Fashion of Intention and Inclusion
Since 2018, EKJO has offered gender-neutral pieces, designed to adapt to the body rather than define it. Our approach to inclusion is fluid and natural, aligned with our vision of fashion as open, personal, and deeply human. Our commitment to quality, craftsmanship, and local production has been recognized by the City of Paris through the “Made in Paris” label since 2020.
Toward Regenerative Fashion
The fashion of tomorrow can no longer be extractive. It must be regenerative.
At EKJO, we believe in transforming rather than discarding, repairing rather than replacing, and slowing down to feel more deeply. This is not just a new process. It is a new mindset.
"This is not just a shift in process, but a shift in values."

We choose slowness, not because it is easy, but because it matters.
